General info regarding abduction or murder
BalochJohd update, May 1, 2012: Bodies of two Baloch missing persons, whose relatives appeared before the Supreme Court on Monday, were found in the Coastal Highway area near District Headquarters Uthal, Lasbela, on Tuesday.
According to the Balochistan Levies, some passers-by spotted the bodies near Patar Bridge, some 25 kilometres from Uthal, and informed the Levies. The bodies were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital Uthal. “They were brutally tortured and killed by electric shock,” hospital sources said. Liari Naib Tehsildar Abdul Ghafoor Mundra said the bodies were identified as Murad Ali Marri, 35, of Kohlu and Dil Murad of Sibbi.
BalochJohd and DailyTawar account: abducted while traveling from Karachi towards their residential town of Jaho in Awaran District.
Dilmurad, 28 years old, son of Lal Marri and 42 year-old Murad Ali s/o Sona Marri were abducted by Pakistani security forces and secret agencies from Windar town of district Lasbela, while travelling from Karachi towards Jaho on a passenger van.
The family members of the victims said in a press release that Dilmurad Marri and Murad Ali were running a scrap business in the Jaho area of Awaran district for the last several years. They said on Friday Dilmurad and Murad had loaded scrap on a hired Mazda truck with the intention to sell it in a scrap market in Karachi. On the next day, when returning to Jaho by passenger van, when they reached Winder town, three Pakistani security vehicles forced the van to stop and dragged Dilmurad and Murad Ali from the van and took them to an unknown location. Their whereabouts are unknown.
Family members said that the two have owned a scrap shop in the Jaho area of Awaran district for the last few years. They are non-political persons and not affiliated with any groups. The family appeals with this press release to the Balochistan High Court, the Supreme Court and all human rights groups to please immediately act for the safe recovery of our abducted relatives. If immediate action is not taken, we fear their fate will be no different than that of other Baloch missing persons.
